The conscious aging program invites you to pause and take stock of your life in order to identify the recurring patterns and themes that have shaped your destiny. What emerges from this process is a greater sense of possibilities, clarity of intentions and a renewed sense of purpose.There are three parts to conscious aging. The first is Successful Aging, where we focus on our lifestyle choices and daily habits to see where we might want to invite changes to maintain and enhance our wellbeing not just physically, but in all areas of our lives.The second component is Productive Aging where we take stock of our lives and identify our resources: financial, personal, social, spiritual, our talents, experience, skills, passion and most importantly time. Here we ask ourselves what do I want to do with this harvest? What do I want to see happen in my life and the lives of those I love? In productive aging we explore the legacy that we’ve created to this point to see how we’d like to build on that to bring it more in line with our highest hopes.In the third component of Conscious Aging we cultivate the ability to find and create joy and meaning in our lives every day, regardless of external influences. Because, while we can’t control all of the circumstances we’ll face as we age, we can learn to control the state of mind or the quality of consciousness that we bring to bear on those circumstances.Finally in the Conscious Aging Programm, all of this comes together to assist you in creating a vision of what it means to age well for you personally, based on what matters most to you.
